Welcome to Dayton Area Plastic Modelers
 The
Dayton Chapter of the
International Plastic Modelers Society is
the oldest continuously functioning
IPMS chapter in the United States, having
been organized in July, 1968 and receiving its charter in September of
that year. Dayton IPMS members are a mixture of military, civilians,
college faculty members, students, retirees, aerospace employees and folks
from all walks of life. One of the founding members and three members from
the 1968-’69 roster are still active in both chapter activities and
modeling.
