Finish What You Started Group Build - 2010

Welcome to the official "intervention" page for our chapter.  As any modeler and their family and friends know, many of us modelers from time-to-time stumble and fall into the near-helpless state of not being able to bring a model to completion, while continuing to start and purchase others.  It's a sad and deplorable condition afflicting modelers the world over.

DAPM is taking a firm stand to help its members overcome and triumph over this condition clinically known as styrenus incompletus -- or "Incomplete Model Syndrome."

During the first half of 2010, our members are coming out of the closet with styrene in tow, and are publically identifying with their condition and reaching out for help via our ad hoc support group in the "Finish What You Started Group Build - 2010."

Any club member wishing to be held accountable to complete an unfinished kit started at least 12 months prior may declare their respective subjects by March 20, 2010.   Subject kits must be completed for a special club contest held during the June October 2010 monthly meeting (yes...we had to slip the date, since only 3 members had theirs done in June (nicely done Ed, Joe, and Dave).  Members are encouraged to bring the subjects to club meetings or provide update pics to the webmaster from time-to-time throughout the build.

Here's a look at what our pathetic (but lovable) crew has brought forth:

A table full of incomplete projects...languishing no more...
