CF-100 Mk IV

This
all-weather aircraft was the only Canadian-designed and built fighter to go
into large scale production.The CF-100 entered service with the 445 Squadron
in 1953. In 1957, the two-seat fighter became an integral part of the
newly formed US - Canadian North American Air Defense (NORAD) system.
This aircraft is painted in the 428 Squadron CF-100 Mk-4A livery of the
mid-1950s. (NMUSAF)
